We’ve been going to Midsumma Carnival and having a stall for four years now.
We hand out merchandise for Rainbow United and talk to everyone who comes to the stall. We tell them what we do and what we stand for. We try to make more contacts and get new members.
This year was great, lots of people came and spoke to us and had questions about the group. We also ran out of all our merchandise, which is a good sign.
It’s important for Rainbow United to be at a LGBTQIA+ event like Midsumma so that the rest of the community sees us. We are not a company, we are there for the people.
